Platform use policy
The Service Management Policy is as follows. Any user participating in the Starcheckin campaigns must comply with the following management policies. Where the user braches the following, the user may face consequences. Due to the nature of the relevant services, policies may change constantly, and the user shall be liable for any breaches of the policies.
Article 1 Objective
The purpose of this Agreement is to define matters that the member shall comply with in utilizing the services of Starcheckin.net service ("service") provided by Starcheckin ("company").
Article 2 Definition
“Member” means a user that has registered as a member on Starcheckin and uses the services
“Administrator” means the assigned person that has overall management and administration over the services
“Blog” means the member’s registered blog or SNS that can be found through RSS address/URL
“Post” means the published writing/photograph that the member has posted on the blog through the service
Article 3 Effect/Applicability/Adjustments of Agreement
Any terms undefined in this Agreement shall follow other relevant law, agreement (annex) regarding service as chosen by the company, specific use policy/regulations, etc.
Article 4 Standard on restriction on use of Starcheckin service
Where the following information is disclosed on the Starcheckin service, the post may be restricted:
Any post regarding world peace, world order, and any material that may offend the relationship between countries
Any post that breaches the constitution or damages the existence of a any country
Any post that breaches the criminal code
Any post that may damage the social order, goodness of public morals
Any material that may sexually stimulate a person, or any material that may damage one’s sexuality that is opposed to sexual morality
Any material which demonstrates excess violence, cruelty or hatred
Any material which deliquesces social unity
Any material which breaches a third party’s rights
Any material which damages the goodness of social order, such as inhumane/immoral act
Any post that breaches the relevant regulations/law
Any post that breaches another person’s rights, and a request is made to delete the post
Any post that damages another person’s reputation
Any post that includes swear words
Any post that distributes/sells/loans any of the posts in (1)-(4), or any posts that has the purpose of displaying/transferring advertisements/promotions/intermediation
All specific standards shall follow the relevant laws/regulations of the relevant country.
Article 5 Method of processing restriction on use of Starcheckin service
Where it is determined that the post breaches Article 4, the post shall be restricted through Starcheckin, and a warning letter will be sent to the user’s e-mail address
Where a user receives the warning three times, the applicable blog/member account shall be deleted from Starcheckin at the company’s discretion
A member in which the following applies may face deletion of his membership:
A member that registers posts that has been determined as “unclean”
A member that registers posts with ill-will
A member that illegitimately registers another person’s blog
A member that illegitimately registers another person’s copyright work
A member that has placed false information about himself and registered as a member
When receiving a warning letter, the company shall notify the member through e-mail. However, where an explanation in writing is provided for by the member to Starcheckin, and the reason is justifiable, the warning may be cancelled.
Blog that has been illegitimately forwarded/spam blog that contains/distributes a virus, phishing blog, or other commercial blogs for profit, may be deleted without notice when first found.
